Does This Sounds Like You?
On the surface, you try to be the "likeable," easygoing one who has it all together, but deep down, you fear that if people knew the real you, they wouldn't want to date you or be your friend.
You've tried to build a real community, but friendships stay surface-level and romantic relationships keep breaking down in familiar ways.
You've chased achievement, status, the right body, the right career, and the validation never quite lands the way you hoped.
Even in gay spaces, you catch yourself trapped in the comparison game, feeling anxious or like you don't measure up next to other gay men.

My Unique Approach
Most of our work will focus on exploring your emotional world and learning how to manage your emotions when it comes to relationships, anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Once you have a better understanding of that, we can work on developing new patterns and experiences.
I'm a gay man who grew up in the South. I understand the struggle of figuring yourself out, untangling the societal expectations placed on you, and navigating the challenges of dating. I've worked with LGBTQ+ men since the start of my career, and my caseload regularly consists of queer men.

What You Can Expect
Early sessions focus on getting to know your history: the patterns you've developed around achievement, connection, and self-worth, and where they first took shape. From there, we'll spend time in the harder emotions underneath those patterns: the fear of not being enough, the exhaustion of performing, the hidden loneliness.
As we go, you'll practice putting words to those feelings and, when you're ready, sharing them more directly with the people in your life.
By the end of this work, most clients notice they're less driven by comparison and more able to tell the difference between genuine connection and performance. Friendships and relationships tend to feel less surface-level, self-worth becomes less dependent on external validation, and the constant internal pressure to have it all together starts to ease.
